Finding Meaning In Tribulation
| "Journey To The Cross" is a series
of meditations reflecting on
Jesus' declaration:
"Whoever does not take up
the cross
and follow Me is not worthy of
Me."
(Matthew 10.38) In this life,
each Christian
is called to follow Christ on
a journey to
the cross. Section I provides a metaphorical means of reflecting on the journey itself. Section II provides some insight into the meaning of the cross in our lives. May reflection on these pages help us to journey in love of the cross, even to the point where we may say with St. Paul: "May I never boast of anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world." (Galatians 6.14) |
