Eagle's Wings

"How precious is thy steadfast love, O God! The children of men take refuge in the shadow of thy wings. They feast on the abundance of thy house, and thou givest them drink from the river of thy delights. For with thee is the fountain of life; in thy light do we see light." (1)

"When I think of you upon my bed, through the night watches I will recall That you indeed are my help, and in the shadow of your wings I shout for joy. My soul clings fast to you; your right hand upholds me."

Wings of Prayer

On wings of prayer, He lifts me high:
Above the clouds that marred my day.
An endless peace, like the blue sky,
Envelopes me in ev'ry way.

On wings of prayer, He lifts my heart:
My cares and worries fall away.
I'm held by peace in ev'ry part --
My spirit's free to dance and pray.

On wings of prayer, He lifts my mind.
With wisdom, He opens the Word.
The Truth shines forth to heal what's blind;
Revealing Him as He is heard.

On wings of prayer, He lifts my soul:
Drawn to Himself in mystery.
I'm held in Him; He is my whole:
His touch foretells eternity.

His talons taut; my spirit clings:
As one we soar on Eagle's wings!
