Love Dances

"At that time, says the LORD, I will be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people… I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you. Again I will build you, and you shall be built, O virgin Israel! Again you shall adorn yourself with timbrels, and shall go forth in the dance of the merrymakers…For thus says the LORD: 'Sing aloud with gladness for Jacob, and raise shouts for the chief of the nations; proclaim, give praise, and say, 'The LORD has saved his people, the remnant of Israel.'" 1

Dancing with Love

I will dance to the beat of my heart;
Not march to my mind's metronome.
From the Spirit will be where I start;
Each step of this dance draws me home.

The Spirit blows where the Lord's heart wills;
The rhythms of love ebb and flow.
Hearts emptied of self the Spirit fills;
In this dance, God's love they will know.

He leads us, His partner, in this dance;
He guides us each step of the way.
Peace, joy and love outpoured entrance:
Each moment's a movement His way.

Lead me, Lord, to the beat of Your heart;
Entrance my whole being with love.
Let us dance each step of life with heart,
And with peaceful joy, rise above!

Your Partner in love, the Lord, will lead;
This dance of Love fills every need!
