A Time To Love
"As for man, his days are like grass;
he flourishes like a flower of the field;
for the wind passes over it, and it is gone,
and its place knows it no more. But the steadfast
love of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting
upon those who fear him, and his righteousness
to children's children, to those who keep
his covenant and remember to do his commandments."

"For everything there is a season, and
a time for every matter under heaven."

The Gift of Time
In this short life, time is a grace;
A precious gift from God above.
I squander it in my fast pace;
And limit it with lack of love.
When I clench time in my tight grip,
It drifts away like desert sand.
I find the moment will not slip
When I extend an open hand.
This gift of time is mine to share
With those whom I am called to serve.
In this small way, they know I care --
A gift of love which they deserve.
When I make time for silent prayer;
To be at peace within my soul:
I rest on Him; I know God's there.
In the stillness, I am made whole.
Time, a grain in eternal sands,
Is only held with open hands.
