In His Hand

"In his hand is the life of every living thing and the breath of all mankind" 1

"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you...Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid." 4

Held In Place

In His hand, I place my cross;
He empties me of self and sin.
In His hand, I am but dross
Purified by His flame within.

In His hand, I am at peace
Knowing that I am forgiven.
In His Hand, my joy won't cease:
Savouring a taste of heaven.

In His hand, my heart is still;
Basking in His glorious light.
In His hand, I have my fill:
He is my being! He is my flight!

His hand holds me in my place;
Secured 'til I behold His Face.
