Test of Faith
"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid."1
O troubled heart, tossed too and fro,Heart of the Storm
Yearning, churning, not discerning --
Wind and wave of worry and woe:
"Master! Awake! I am sinking!"
"Have peace! Be still! I am with you!"
He stops my storm and steadies me.
His hope anchors my heart anew.
My faith's restored; I am set free.
His Grace alone; it will suffice.
With stronger faith, my doubts will cease.
Each storm becomes a sacrifice.
Faith, hope and love secure His Peace.
In peace-filled hearts, He finds His rest;
My faith strengthens with ev'ry test.
