Wellspring of His Grace

"Jesus said to her, 'Every one who drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst; the water that I shall give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.'" 1

The Divine Aquifer

My Lord, the Divine Aquifer,
Pours forth His stream of grace on me.
My heart, the Master's reservoir,
Spills over with Divine Mercy.

The Living Waters are drawn out
With each small act of charity.
They rain down on a distant drought
In prayer poured out with purity.

The sludge of sin and dregs of doubt
Are sluiced out with sacrifice.
The depths of my heart are dredged out.
His grace alone -- it will suffice.

From faithful hearts, His graces flow
Refreshing the parched earth below.
