Thy Kingdom Come

"After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no man could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, 'Salvation belongs to our God who sits upon the throne, and to the Lamb!' And all the angels stood round the throne and round the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, saying, 'Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might be to our God for ever and ever! Amen.'" 1

The next day a great crowd who had come to the feast heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem. So they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet him, crying, "Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, even the King of Israel!"2

Poised for the crown of victory,
Redeemer comes in His Glory
to raise the dead; to set us free!
Let us greet Him on bended knee.

In homage let us raise the palm
And meet Him singing prayer and psalm!
The King will quell the raging qualm
And by His Peace restore all calm.

Dispel all doubt; renounce all fear.
Our redemption is drawing near!
The King of Glory will appear
And wipe away every tear!

Let's sing "Hosanna!" from this earth
To greet the King of our rebirth!
