Infant King

"While they were there, the time came for her to have her child, and she gave birth to her firstborn son." (Luke 2:6-7a)

Gazing On The Holy Face

From the pure eyes of Mary,
The Holy Face we gaze.
Immaculate Heart, carry
This hymn of joyful praise.

O Infant King of heaven
And earth, Emmanuel,
Your kingdom is the leaven
Of Love -- our hearts will swell.

You give to us Your Father,
Creator of us all,
And bless us with Your Mother
Who holds us when we call.

Our joy flows from Your smile;
Our hearts fill with Your peace.
As we journey each mile,
Your gentle gaze won't cease.

Your mercy is a free gift;
Though by weakness we roam:
The humble heart You uplift;
The contrite You call home.

O Infant King, make us whole;
Grant us humility.
Prepare Your place in each soul --
Indwelling Trinity!
