Heaven Outpoured

"On the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood up and exclaimed, "Let anyone who thirsts come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as scripture says: 'Rivers of living water will flow from within him.'" (1)

Flowing

Flow from the heart and the soul with great love;
Flow to the rhythm of heaven above.
Flowing is knowing the ways of the Lord;
Flowing to others is love's sweet reward.

Flow from the Spirit who planted the seed;
Flow to the others you serve in their need.
Flowing is growing the fruits of the Lord;
Growing in heaven's libation outpoured.

Flow from the life that God gives in the host;
Flow to the hungry who need Him the most.
Flowing is showing that God loves us all:
The Shepherd is calling; may we hear His call.

Flow from the graces received in your prayer;
Flow in your weakness; God's strength you will bear.
Flowing in knowing the Lord will provide;
That heaven goes with you; God is on your side.

Flow from the light which your faith has begun;
Flow through the darkness when clouds block the sun.
Flowing is going uphill on the way,
Bearing the cross -- let God lead where He may.
