Worship The Lord
All mankind shall come to worship before
Me, says the Lord. (Isaiah 66:23)
"God is spirit, and those who
worship
Him must worship in spirit and truth." (John 4:24)
But if your heart turns away, and you
will
not hear, but are drawn away to worship
other
gods and serve them, I declare to you
this
day, that you shall perish. (Deuteronomy 30:17-18)
He responded, "Well did Isaiah
prophesy
about you hypocrites, as it is written:
'This
people honors me with their lips, but
their
hearts are far from me; In vain do
they worship
me, teaching as doctrines human precepts.'
You disregard God's command-ment but
cling
to human tradition." (Mark 7:6-8)
At this, Jesus said to him, "Get
away,
Satan! It is written: 'The Lord, your
God,
shall you worship and Him alone shall
you
serve.'" (Matthew 4:10)
How much more will the blood of Christ,
who
through the eternal spirit offered
Himself
unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences
from dead works to worship the living
God.
(Hebrews 9:14)
Therefore, we who are receiving the
unshakable
kingdom should have gratitude, with
which
we should offer worship pleasing to
God in
reverence and awe. (Hebrews 12:28)
O come, let us worship and bow down,
let
us kneel before the Lord, our Maker! (Psalm 95:6)
Give to the Lord the glory due God's
name.
Bow down before the Lord's holy splendor!
(Psalm 29:2)
Worship the Lord with cries of gladness;
come before him with joyful song. (Psalm 100:2)
So I look to You in the sanctuary to
see
Your power and glory. For Your love
is better
than life; my lips offer You worship!
I will
bless You as long as I live; I will
lift
up my hands, calling on Your name. (Psalm 63:3-5)
