Choose Life
I lie prostrate in the dust; give me life
in accord with Your word. (Psalm 119:25)
So our life will pass away like the
traces
of a cloud, and will be dispersed like
a
mist pursued by the sun's rays and
overpowered
by its heat. (Wisdom 2:4)
I have set before you life and death,
the
blessing and the curse. Choose life,
then,
that you and your descendants may live.
(Deuteronomy
30:19)
For this is the will of My Father,
that everyone
who sees the Son and believes in Him
may
have eternal life, and I shall raise
him
(on) the last day." (John 6:40)
I came so that they might have life
and have
it more abundantly. (John 10:10)
Now this is eternal life, that they should
know You, the only true God, and the One
whom You sent, Jesus Christ. (John 17:3)
It is the spirit that gives life, while the
flesh is of no avail. The words I have spoken
to you are spirit and life. (John 6:63)
We were indeed buried with Him through baptism
into death, so that, just as Christ was raised
from the dead by the glory of the Father,
we too might live in newness of life. (Romans
6:4)
For whoever wishes to save his life will
lose it, but whoever loses his life for My
sake will find it. (Matthew 16:25)
Peter said to him, "Master, why can't
I follow You now? I will lay down my life
for you." Jesus answered, "Will
you lay down your life for Me?" (John
13:37-38)
What profit would there be for one to gain
the whole world and forfeit his life? Or
what can one give in exchange for his life?
(Matthew 16:26)
Yet I live, no longer I, but Christ lives
in me; insofar as I now live in the flesh,
I live by faith in the Son of God who has
loved me and given Himself up for me. (Galatians
2:20)
