Walk In The Light
Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead,
and Christ will give you light. (Ephesians
5:14)
God is light, and in Him there is no
darkness
at all. (1 John 5:5)
The light came into the world, but
people
preferred darkness to light, because
their
works were evil. (John 3:19)
If we walk in the light as He is in
the light,
then we have fellowship with one another,
and the blood of His Son Jesus cleanses
us
from all sin. (1 John 1:7)
Whoever lives the truth comes to the
light,
so that his works may be clearly seen
as
done in God. (John 3:21)
Walk while you have the light, so that darkness
may not overcome you…While you have the light,
believe in the light, so that you may become
children of the light." (John 12:35-36)
What came to be through Him was life, and
this life was the light of the human race;
the light shines in the darkness, and the
darkness has not overcome it. (John 1:3-5)
Take care, then, that the light in you not
become darkness. If your whole body is full
of light, and no part of it is in darkness,
then it will be as full of light as a lamp
illuminating you with its brightness."
(Luke 11:35-36)
Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I
am the light of the world. Whoever follows
Me will not walk in darkness, but will have
the light of life." (John 8:12)
And He was transfigured before them; His
face shone like the sun and His clothes became
white as light. (Matthew 17:2)
Your light must shine before others, that
they may see your good deeds and glorify
your heavenly Father. (Matthew 5:16)
