Peace Be With You
I will listen for the word of God; surely
the Lord will proclaim peace to His people,
to the faithful, to those who trust in Him. (Psalm 85:9)
My soul is deprived of peace, I have
forgotten
what happiness is; I tell myself my
future
is lost, all that I hoped for from
the Lord. (Lamentations 3:17-18)
My people will live in peaceful country,
in secure dwellings and quiet resting
places. (Isaiah 32:18)
O Lord, you mete out peace to us, for
it
is You who have accomplished all we
have
done. (Isaiah 26:12)
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they
will
be called children of God. (Matthew 5:9)
Have no anxiety at all, but in everything,
by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving,
make your requests known to God. Then
the
peace of God that surpasses all understanding
will guard your hearts and minds in
Christ
Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7)
Finally, brothers, rejoice. Mend your
ways,
encourage one another, agree with one
another,
live in peace, and the God of love
and peace
will be with you. (2 Corinthians 13:11)
If possible, on your part, live at
peace
with all. (Romans 12:18)
Jesus came and stood in their midst
and said
to them, "Peace be with you."
(John 20:19)
Peace I leave with you; my peace I
give to
you. Not as the world gives do I give
it
to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled
or afraid. (John 14:27)
I have told you this so that you might
have
peace in me. In the world you will
have trouble,
but take courage, I have conquered
the world."
(John 16:33)
May the Lord of peace himself give
you peace
at all times and in every way. The
Lord be
with all of you. (2 Thessalonians 3:16)
