Persevere In Prayer
Have no anxiety at all, but in everything,
by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving,
make your requests known to God. (Philippians
4:6)
Will not God then secure the rights of His
chosen ones who call out to Him day and night?
Will He be slow to answer them? (Luke 18:7)
The prayer of the lowly pierces the clouds;
it does not rest till it reaches its goal,
nor will it withdraw till the Most High responds,
judges justly and affirms the right. (Sirach
35:17-18)
Persevere in prayer, being watchful in it
with thanksgiving. (Colossians 4:2)
The fervent prayer of a righteous person
is very powerful. (James 5:16)
With all prayer and supplication, pray at
every opportunity in the Spirit. To that
end, be watchful with all perseverance and
supplication for all the holy ones (Ephesians
6:18)
As they prayed, the place where they were
gathered shook, and they were all filled
with the holy Spirit and continued to speak
the word of God with boldness. (Acts 4:31)
Rejoice in hope, endure in affliction, persevere
in prayer. (Romans 12:12)
But I will call upon God, and the Lord will
save me. At dusk, dawn, and noon I will grieve
and complain, and my prayer will be heard.
(Psalm 55:17-18)
Watch and pray that you may not undergo the
test. The spirit is willing but the flesh
is weak. (Mark 14:38)
He was in such agony and He prayed so fervently
that His sweat became like drops of blood
falling on the ground. (Luke 22:44)
Be vigilant at all times and pray that you
have the strength to escape the tribulations
that are imminent and to stand before the
Son of Man." (Luke 21:36)
Pray without ceasing. (1 Thessalonians 5:17)
